It is already version 15.14. Also it has gone dorsum to asking me to activate the program (excel and word) every time i open up them and they keep crashing even before I have time to get through the activation process.

You lot should try post-obit -
A. I am assuming that your Bone is up-to-date. If non, make your Bone likewise up-to-date. The latest Bone version is ten.13.3. This is reported to solve the issue.
If your upshot solved, no need to read further downwardly.
B. Try to update your Office over again so that if any patch is released by Microsoft that would flow in. Sometimes you have to try many times before an update is recognized by your Office.

You should try post-obit -A. I am bold that your OS is upward-to-date. If not, brand your OS too upwards-to-date. The latest OS version is 10.13.3. This is reported to solve the issue.
If your issue solved, no need to read farther downward.

This forenoon I updated to high sierra. This made no divergence. I re-installed office and activated the licenses again - which information technology confirmed. The aforementioned problem remains.

Something's non correct here.
If you completely removed Office and reinstalled, y'all should have version sixteen.12, not fifteen.14
Please double-check your Role version. Become to the Excel menu and choose Near Excel. If you have 15.14 or something other than 16.12, do the following:
Make sure your Mac has a working internet connection earlier checking for updates. Install Mac Bone 10 updates followed by Part updates.
Install Mac Os Ten updates first:
To get Mac OS updates, go to the App store on your dock, and so click the Updates button to reveal available updates.
Then Install Office Updates
To go the update:
- Open whatsoever Office application
- Go to the Aid card and cull Bank check for Updates
- Let AutoUpdate cheque for and install updates
- Restart your Mac
If you lot have any add-ins such as WebEx, Mendelay, EndNote, Zotero, TypeIt4me, etc it is essential that you lot install the latest updates for your add-ins.
